RETURN/EXCHANGE POLICY

We guarantee all shipments to be first quality.

For items received damaged you will have 5 days to contact us from the time the package is delivered. After 5 days, we will not be able to file a claim with our shipping company so there will be no refund or exchange on items after that time.

All items purchased are refundable/exchangeable within 15 days of receiving shipment except for the original shipping and handling charges provided that all items returned are in the same condition (unused) as when originally shipped and in the complete original packaging. (Exception: All iridium (mirrored/multi colored) shields are warranted for 10 days from receipt of goods. Closeouts and/or Vintage Helmets [see below] are subject to a restocking fee on returns). Under special circumstances you may return with prior approval after 10 days but there is a 20% reshelving fee. We DO NOT issue call tags for merchandise, and you must pay the return shipment cost. If an exchange is occurring, a second shipping charge will be assessed if there was a charge on the initial order. All vintage collectible helmets are special order and will be delivered within 10 to 14 days. Exchanges on Vintage Collectible helmets are permitted for same model and color helmets only. Otherwise, any Vintage Collectible helmet will be refundable with a 20% reshelving fee within 30 days of receipt. Specials/Closeout items are limited to stock on hand. These items are subject to a restock fee of 20% after 15 days for returns, unless item(s) were purchased between November 25, 2009 to December 25, 2009 which are refundable/exchangeable up to January 16, 2010.

To Return or Exchange any merchandise, please follow these easy steps:

  • Before returning/exchanging any items, you must call us for a Returned Goods Authorization (RGA) Number.
  • Use the original carton if it is good shape, or use a good solid carton. Package securely to avoid damage during shipment, include all original packing materials.
  • Include a copy of the original invoice with the credit card number that was inside the carton. Please write on the invoice what you would like done.
  • Address the package to:

  • Ship your package to us by any available carrier. Remember to insure your package for loss or damage in the transit as the carrier assumes responsibility of your package until it is delivered to us.

Please allow sufficient time for your shipment to be delivered (normally 5-10 days). Once we receive your shipment, we will credit your account, issue a refund check, or process an exchange within 7-10 business days upon receipt of goods.

AVAILABILITY
Many accessory items contained on this site are available to refurbish most, but not all, older helmet models. As a result, we stock every Bell Helmet Accessory that is still available in distribution. However, if you do not see parts for your particular helmet, they, simply do not exist. Therefore, some helmet models may not be shown or may no longer have parts still available.  If this is the case with your helmet, please see the Trade In Program.

TRADE IN PROGRAM
For many years, Bell Helmets would refurbish an older helmet. We no longer perform this service. Simply stated: if you do not see your helmet, or the item you want replaced under your helmet heading, please send an email to sales@genuineaccessories.com and put "Trade In Program Information" in the subject line or body of the email. We will send you a comprehensive Trade In Procedure Form in a return email.

ORDER USING SECURE ONLINE SHOPPING CART
Secure Online ordering of all products is available by clicking on the red "Buy" buttons and following the directions that will be displayed as you go.  Please fill the online order form out correctly, we will need the following information:
1) The name as it appears on the credit card. This is the embossed name of the issued user (Please do not put the Issuing Bank Name).
2) We need the Exact Billing Address. (Where you receive your Bank Statement).
3) We need Your Shipping Address (if different than the billing address). If you are having the goods sent to work place, please include the company name. Please add Suite Numbers, Apartment Numbers, or any Special Address Information. Please double check all your information prior submitting your order.
4) We need a current phone number so our sales staff, UPS, or FEDEX can contact you regarding your shipment if needed.
Credit Card transactions are encrypted to ensure confidentiality and orders are processed promptly.

ORDER BY FAX
To order by fax, print and fill out the order by fax form then fax it to us at (562) 595-1113 (California, USA).  We will call or email to confirm that we received your order. If ordering via FAX, please list detailed descriptions of the parts you are requesting using black ink.

Print and fill out the order by fax form referred to above and send it with a bank check or money order (made payable to Bell Helmets, see Payment Method below).

PAYMENT METHOD
We presently accept Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover. We also accept money orders and cashier's checks. If you'd like to make a Paypal payment, please give us a call and speak with one of our representatives so we can issue you a personalized a money request. Sorry, but we no longer accept personal checks.

CALIFORNIA ORDERS must also add 9.75% for sales tax.

ORDER TRACKING
All orders will be shipped within two business days from placement of your order. If a problem exists, we will notify you regarding your order either by telephone or a return e-mail. The e-mail address you provide will be used for tracking your package, and we will send you a return email, with your package information. Please use an e-mail address that you check regularly when placing your order, so that you can get this information.

CONFIDENTIALITY
Your personal information will not be sold or exchanged.

CLOSE OUT HELMET AVAILABILITY
If we do not have the parts available to repair your old helmet, please check our "Closeout Specials" section (also located in the links bar on the left hand side of your screen) for great deals on new helmet models. Here you can find discounted helmets that are available in limited quantities at discounted prices. We will update this section as inventories change. The colors/sizes which are listed are all that is available, there are no size substitutions. These helmets are available on a "first-come, first-served" basis. In the rare event that a helmet is sold out prior to receiving your order, we will contact you ASAP to make an alternate selection.

IDENTIFY YOUR HELMET
To help you determine the identity of your helmet model, we have included photo links to many of Bell Helmets’ popular models. On many of Bell Helmet’s early models you will find that both the chinstrap and D-rings are stamped with the helmet model. Be careful because many helmets have similar features, including shield design, vent locations, and shield attachment hardware (pivot kits). You can click on any blue text that is underlined in order to view a photograph of the accessory part you are considering. This will prove helpful in identifying the item you need for your helmet. In some cases, items will no longer be available for your particular model. We try our best to locate and stock parts for your Bell Helmet. Some helmets have non-descriptive markings, such as a Snell Serial Number (begins with a M and a series of numbers) or a Gram Weight (Weight of Helmet) number (GR 1400). IDENTIFY YOUR FACESHIELD
Over the last 40 years, Bell Helmets has used many model specific faceshields with their many high quality helmet models. You will find many helmet photographs in the Helmet Parts Section for Full Face Models. When you find the helmet model you own, click on that model and it will take you to an order sheet for all the parts that are currently available for the helmet you own. While trying to locate the replacement shield that you need, please note that many shields were embossed with a 3-digit number beginning with the number 2. This will prove most helpful when trying to identify your replacement faceshield. In most instances, we have provided a photo of the faceshield for your cross-reference along with its 3-digit number. If you no longer have the original faceshield, or do not know the model of your helmet, please take a look at Identify Your Helmet Model Questions? E-mail us at sales@genuineaccessories.com.

IDENTIFY YOUR INTERIOR FIT PADS
Many Bell Helmet models were equipped with both interchangeable and washable comfort liner systems. Please see the attached photos as described under Identify Your Helmet Model. If you do not see the parts needed for your helmet. Please e-mail your name, helmet model, and daytime phone number to the e-mail listed below. IDENTIFY YOUR AUTOMOTIVE HELMET FACESHIELD
Bell Automotive helmets use different faceshields depending on the safety standard of your helmet. One can determine the Snell Rating by looking under the interior comfort liner for a Snell Sticker (printed with a serial number) and there will be contrast lettering prior to the serial number denoting: SA90, SA95, SA2000, M90, M95, or M2000. This will determine which table replacement faceshield will fit your helmet. The model, if not remembered, is stamped on the D-Rings and should provide you a correct determination along with the Snell Year designation listed above. Once you have this information, please email it along with the shield tints and related items you need for your helmet. SPECIAL NOTE: Do not order any Automotive (Snell SA Rated) faceshields from this webpage. Due to the nature of discontinued product, we extend substantial discounts to our customers and they are always in limited supply. As a result, we update our website frequently.
